Songwriter since 1968 Robert Blake Cash is cousin of Johnny Cash the famous Country singer. Blake has always enjoyed writing music that incites social awareness and has a message worth sharing. His mother was accomplished organ and piano player who also played with Johnny Cash at the Bostonian Ballroom in El Cajon. Blake grew up playing country folk music but soon ventured out into other genres. His father was also named Johnny Cash both the singer and his father were named after Uncle Johnny Cash or John Robert Cash. To date as of 11/22022 Blake has written close to 1000 lifetime songs. He has been a Electrical Contractor in California, Social Worker B.S. Degree, JW Minister and Bible teacher and now Realtor for Keller William's Realty of the Treasure Coast in South Florida, where he has resided since 2002. Blake has teamed up with friend DAVID SERY, a fantastic lead guitarist, to record about 100 songs together. In 2012 Blake was asked to help a friend named DeWayne Blackwell, the writer of "Friends in Low Places" for Garth Brooks. They wrote "Hillbilly Boys Drink Up" . Garth never made the intended Album or Come back tour but went solo to Las Vegas instead. Blackwell gave Blake all interest in the song which was included in his CASH & SERY Gypsy's in Quicksand Album of 2012. Blake's Stepdaughter KERi HIGHLAND sings on several of Blakes albums and he says she is his all time favorite singer songwriter. Blake hopes to feature access to download his music from this or another website in the future. Currently it is found at CDBABY.COM and on YOUTUBE and iTunes, under Blake Cash Music or Robert Blake Cash. He will also be posting his new demo unmastered raw music.

Posting Songs that are in progress or planning to fully recorded. Sort of nice to hear the raw version. Thank for sharing my journey. Best wishes! Blake...
